In January-July 2023, local budgets of the Transcarpathian region paid UAH 10 million 981 thousand 100 in tourist tax, which is 0.6 % less than in the same period in 2022, according to the Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Transcarpathian Regional Administration.
The tourist tax paid by individuals amounted to UAH 5,386.3 thousand, and the tax paid by legal entities was UAH 5,597.8 thousand.
The largest amounts of tourist tax were received by the budgets of territorial communities: Polyana village - UAH 2655.4 thousand; city.
