Almost UAH 6 million in tourist tax was paid in Zakarpattia in Jan-Feb 2026

Between January and February 2026, 5,899,000 UAH in tourist tax was paid into the local budgets of Zakarpattia Oblast, which is 30% more than in the same period of 2025.

The growth was due to the tourist tax paid by individual entrepreneurs (UAH 3,538.5 thousand) and legal entities (UAH 2,360.7 thousand), informs the Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Zakarpattia Regional State Administration.

The largest amounts of tourist tax went to the budgets of local communities:

c. Polyana – 1,331.6 thousand UAH;

Uzhhorod - 1,109.8 thousand UAH

Baranintsi village – 445.3 thousand UAH;

с. Пилипець – 418.7 thousand UAH;

s. Koson – 362.7 thousand UAH;

M. Mukachevo – 274.3 thousand UAH;

Berehove – 267.4 thousand UAH;

Yasenye – 238,000 UAH;

c. Vyshka – 201.5 thousand UAH;

c. Onokivtsi – 190.4 thousand UAH
