On 7 September 2022, a working meeting was held between representatives of the Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Regional State Administration and the Faculty of Tourism and International Communications of the Uzhhorod National University, at which a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed to jointly promote and develop the tourism potential of the Zakarpattia region.
The event was attended by a delegation from the Faculty of Tourism and International Communications of the Uzhhorod National University, namely the Dean of the Faculty Natalia Gabchak and the Deputy Dean for Research Uliana Khanas. The Department of Tourism and Resorts was represented by the Head of the Department Bohdana Nosa.
The signing of the memorandum envisages active cooperation, interaction and coordination between the institutions to ensure the development of the tourism and recreation sector of the region and the training of relevant specialists.
The meeting also discussed plans and opportunities for future cooperation.
