In January-June 2024, UAH 8 million 637 thousand 900 of tourist tax was paid to the local budgets of the Transcarpathian region, which is 4.61% less than in the same period in 2023.
The tourist tax paid by individuals is UAH 4,804.5 thousand, and the tax paid by legal entities is UAH 3,833.4 thousand, according to the Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Transcarpathian Regional Administration.
The largest amounts of tourist tax were received by the budgets of territorial communities: the city of Uzhhorod - UAH 1,766.1 thousand; the village of Polyana - UAH 1,722.0 thousand; the village of Baranyntsi - UAH 677.4 thousand; the city of Mukachevo - UAH 632.0 thousand; the village of Koson - UAH 568.5 thousand; the city of Beregovo - UAH 537.3 thousand; the town of Yasinya - UAH 342.9 thousand; the city of Vynohradiv - UAH 325.9 thousand; Dovhe village - UAH 238.0 thousand; Vyshka village - UAH 229.9 thousand.
