The Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Transcarpathian Regional Administration reports that in January-October 2022, UAH 17 million 117 thousand 900 of tourist tax was paid to the local budgets of the Transcarpathian region, which is almost 88.8 % more than in the same period in 2021.
The tourist tax paid by individuals amounted to UAH 7,760.4 thousand, and the tax paid by legal entities was UAH 9,357.5 thousand.
The largest amounts of tourist tax were paid to the budgets of territorial communities: Polyana village - UAH 4,254.9 thousand; Baranyntsi village - UAH 2,814.5 thousand; the city of Uzhhorod - UAH 2,192.4 thousand; the city of Mukachevo - UAH 992.4 thousand; Koson - UAH 963.8 thousand; Pylypets - UAH 665.4 thousand; Vyshka - UAH 656.5 thousand; Yasinya - UAH 624.0 thousand; the city of Vynogradiv - UAH 624.0 thousand; the town of Vynogradiv - UAH 616.5 thousand; the city of Berehove - UAH 603.2 thousand; Turia Remeta village - UAH 460.1 thousand.
