Every year on 4 October, we celebrate World Animal Day.
This group of living organisms includes birds. Which birds live near us and which can be seen only in the mountains? Which species are rare and listed in the Red Book of Ukraine? What do our feathered friends do and how do they live in the Carpathians throughout the year? All these questions will be answered at the exhibition "Winged Messengers of Freedom".
The opening of the exhibition will take place on 4 October 2022 at 11 a.m. in the gallery of Uzhhorod Castle (1st floor).
The exhibition was prepared by the researchers of the Nature Sector of the Transcarpathian Regional Museum together with the staff of the Institute of Ecological and Religious Studies at the initiative of the IYCE Commission on Ecology (secretary Alexander Bokotey) in cooperation with the German Nature Conservation Union (NABU International)
