On 17 September 2022, the World Cleanup Day will be held under the slogan "Let the sky be peaceful and Ukraine clean".
The main goal is to create a culture of cleanliness, proper waste management and responsible consumption among citizens, and to unite efforts for the sake of an environmentally friendly future.
There are many different cleaning formats:
Digital cleaning
Remove digital rubbish on phones and computers, clean up cloud storage, flash drives and drives, and delete and unsubscribe from spam;
Sorting
Find the point, sort, recycle and mark the points on the map at recyclingpoints.org.
Give things a second life
Clean up your home and donate warm clothes, blankets and other items to humanitarian headquarters or to those in need;
Clean-ups
Participate in traditional clean-ups, but only where recommended by local authorities.
Organisers: All-Ukrainian youth movement "Let's do it Ukraine" together with the international movement "Let's Do It World", the international youth movement "School Recycling World", with the support of executive authorities, local governments, NGOs, associations, socially responsible businesses and the media.
The event will be held in compliance with quarantine regulations and wartime restrictions, taking into account security standards and geographical features of the regions.
