Today, 63 students of the university received bachelor's degrees in Tourism and Hotel and Restaurant Business.
The graduation ceremony was attended by Ulyana Khanas, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and International Communications of UzhNU, Fedir Shandor, President of the Transcarpathian Tourism Organisation, Oleksandra Horzov, Acting Head of the Tourism and Resorts Department of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, Eduard Malyar, Head of the Administrative Department of the Transcarpathian Customs, faculty members and relatives of the graduates.
"You have come a long way to get your degree. First the pandemic, online learning, then the full-scale invasion of Russia. But thanks to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, we are pleased to welcome you today. I wish you to realise your potential in the field of tourism and invite you to join the team of the Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Regional Administration to promote and develop the industry in the Zakarpattia region," Oleksandra Horzov said in her welcoming speech to the graduates.
The best students of the faculty were awarded with diplomas of UzhNU, and at the end of the celebrations, the graduates handed over the funds raised for the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the teachers.
