The Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration together with the Faculty of Tourism and International Communications of UzhNU organised a presentation competition for students on the topic of "Tourist Transcarpathia".
The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty Natalia Gabchak, representatives of the Department of Tourism and Resorts Marianna Gotra and Oleksandra Horzov, and more than fifty students of UzhNU.
In total, the competition featured about ten presentations of the region's tourism potential, its cultural, natural and gastronomic highlights, as well as the most popular routes. The jury chose the best presentations by students Myroslava Yakyma "Tourist Transcarpathia" and Iryna Ilyushonok "Transcarpathian Adventures". The contestants received awards and gifts.
Marianna Gotra, Head of the Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Zakarpattia Regional State Administration, thanked the contestants for their creativity and invited them to implement joint tourism products aimed at promoting the region.
