IDPs and tourists from Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy and other Ukrainian cities took part in an open tour organised by the Tourism and Resorts Department of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration.
The tour of Uzhhorod was led by guide Maria Zabolotna, who told the guests about the history, architecture, culture and other highlights of the city on the Uzh.
The route passed through the cherry blossom quarter of the regional centre and ended at the Uzhhorod Castle.
"With this open tour, we continue to introduce Transcarpathia to our guests. The new tourist season began with cherry blossoms, but there are many events and locations ahead that will interest tourists from all over Ukraine. We are grateful to all the representatives of the tourism industry of the region for their daily work, which brings our victory closer every day," said Oleksandra Horzov, Acting Head of the Tourism and Resorts Department of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration.
In addition to good mood, all participants of the tour received interesting gifts, including maps with tourist highlights of Transcarpathia and a list of the TOP-10 values of the region.
