Representatives of the Tourism and Resorts Department of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Marianna Gotra and Oleksandra Horzov took part in the presentation of the first season of the film Zakarpatka, which took place on 29 October at the Uzhhorod Cinema Complex.
The film introduces viewers to the culture, customs and traditions of the ethnic groups of Transcarpathia. It is a story about the beauty and life of a Transcarpathian woman against the backdrop of the majestic nature of the Carpathian mountains and original folk art.

The film stars Transcarpathian mothers and their daughters, who represent four ethnic groups of Ukrainians in Transcarpathia: Lemkos, Boikos, Hutsuls and Borzhava Valley residents.
According to the author of the idea, Anna Feyer, the project is scheduled for 2023-2024. The organisers plan to create a film in several episodes, as well as fashion shows of a stylised collection of different ethnic groups of Transcarpathia in European cities.
