During the full-scale invasion of Russia, the number of TICs in the country increased by almost a third. According to information collected by DART 2021, 63 TICs operated in Ukraine and provided information services to tourists.
Currently, there are 88 tourist information centres in Ukraine, the State Agency for Tourism Development of Ukraine.
The largest number of TICs is in the western regions of the country - 47. For example, there are 17 TICs in Zakarpattia region, 9 in Lviv region, 7 in Ivano-Frankivsk region, 4 in Ternopil and Khmelnytsky regions, 3 in Volyn region, 2 in Rivne region, and 1 in Bukovyna.
There are 22 tourist information centres in central Ukraine, 4 in the south, and only one in eastern Ukraine - in Kharkiv.
