The most beautiful race in Ukraine - Wine Run - was held in Transcarpathia for the fourth time. This year, the competition was held at the Chateau Pauk vineyards in the village of Pistrialovo, Mukachevo district.
Here, on 11 September, 106 athletes from Uzhhorod, Mukachevo, Mariupol, Kherson, Lviv, Khust, Irshava, Mizhhirya and Truskavets took part in the race. The oldest participant was 62 years old, and the youngest was 7.
"These competitions are a vivid example of Zakarpattia's hospitality. We are happy to welcome tourists and athletes from all over Ukraine. You are a strong shoulder of our country, because even during the war you find the strength to overcome distances, supporting the indomitable spirit of Ukrainians," she addressed the participants of the race. the head of the Tourism and Resorts Department of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, Bohdan Nos.
The runners covered a distance of 4 kilometres under the picturesque vineyards of Transcarpathia. They were running for Ukraine and its Armed Forces.
According to the organisers of the competition, next year the most beautiful race in Ukraine - Wine Run - is going to be expanded.
