In December, Marianna Gotra, Head of the Tourism and Resorts Department of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, signed memoranda of partnership and cooperation with the Healthy City Foundation (Poland) and the Ukrainian digital project Virtual Ukraine.
The memorandum with the Healthy City Foundation was signed during a working visit of representatives of the Tourism and Resorts Department to Poland on 8 December. During the meeting between Marianna Gotra and Daniel Chomytsky, the head of the foundation, it was agreed to cooperate in implementing tasks aimed at developing tourism in accordance with the Programme for the Development of Tourism and Resorts of the Zakarpattia Region for 2024-2026 and the Local Development Strategy of the Republic of Poland and within the framework of the Interreg NEXT Programme Poland-Ukraine 2021-2027.
In turn, on 21 December, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Zakarpattia Regional State Administration and the Ukrainian digital project Virtual Ukraine - virtualukraine.travel.
Marianna Gotra and project manager Dmytro Malyshev agreed to work together to develop and expand digital projects in the field of presentation, promotion, advertising and information support for tourism facilities. In particular, this concerns the digitalisation of tourist locations: natural, cultural and historical, as well as tourist infrastructure facilities in modern electronic formats (websites, digital applications, social media content) with a focus on VR360 content.
