In January 2025, UAH 2 million 457 thousand 900 of tourist tax was paid to the local budgets of the Transcarpathian region, which is 64.11% more than in the same period of 2024.
The tourist tax paid by individuals is UAH 1,113.1 thousand, and the tax paid by legal entities is UAH 1,344.8 thousand, the Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration informs.
The largest amounts of tourist tax were paid to the budgets of territorial communities: Polyana village - UAH 440.7 thousand; Baranyntsi village - UAH 429.1 thousand; the city of Uzhhorod - UAH 372.1 thousand; the village of Pylypets - UAH 180.4 thousand; the city of Beregovo - UAH 170.6 thousand; the city of Mukachevo - UAH 166.9 thousand; the village of Koson - UAH 150.0 thousand; the village of Onokivtsi - UAH 136.6 thousand; the city of Vynogradiv - UAH 101.4 thousand; Dovhe village - UAH 65.3 thousand; Vyshka village - UAH 41.7 thousand.
Compared to January last year, tourist tax revenues increased the most in the Baranyntsi (22 times), Mizhhiria (8 times), Irshava (7 times) and Rakhiv (6 times) hromadas.
