The Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Transcarpathian Regional Administration reports that in January 2023, UAH 1 million 251 thousand 900 of tourist tax was paid to the local budgets of the Transcarpathian region, which is 61.7 % more than in the same period in 2022.
In particular, the tourist tax paid by individuals amounted to UAH 603.3 thousand, and the tax paid by legal entities - UAH 648.6 thousand.
The largest amounts of tourist tax were paid to the budgets of territorial communities: Polyana village - UAH 426.2 thousand; city. Uzhhorod - UAH 273.7 thousand; the village of Koson - UAH 140.0 thousand; the city of Beregovo - UAH 78.4 thousand; Pylypets - UAH 67.8 thousand; Vyshka - UAH 66.2 thousand; the city of Vynogradiv - UAH 34.1 thousand; the village of Dovhe - UAH 27.7 thousand; the village of Onokivtsi - UAH 27.3 thousand; the city of Chop - UAH 20.0 thousand.
