Between January and June 2023, local budgets of the Transcarpathian region paid UAH 9 million 53.5 thousand in tourist tax, which is 2 % more than in the same period in 2022, according to the Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Transcarpathian Regional Military Administration.
In particular, the tourist tax paid by individuals amounted to UAH 4 million 390.8 thousand, and the tax paid by legal entities - UAH 4 million 662.7 thousand.
The largest amounts of tourist tax were received by the budgets of territorial communities: Polyana village - UAH 2 million 162.6 thousand; the city of Uzhhorod - UAH 1 million 226.6 thousand; the village of Baranyntsi - UAH 1 million 81 thousand; the village of Koson - UAH 620.2 thousand; the city of Beregovo - UAH 550.8 thousand; the city of Mukachevo - UAH 482.9 thousand; the city of Vynohradiv - UAH 428.2 thousand; Onokivtsi - UAH 386.1 thousand; Vyshka - UAH 299.7 thousand; Dovhe - UAH 285.6 thousand; Turia-Remeta - UAH 241.7 thousand; Yasinya - UAH 209.5 thousand; Pylypets - UAH 186.1 thousand.
