On Friday, 7 July, the owners and representatives of the region's craft cheese dairies and breweries gathered in the city on the Latorytsia River. The purpose of the event was to discuss development prospects and a programme of cooperation within the industry, as well as to share experiences and agree on a strategy for labelling Transcarpathian products.

At the invitation of the Transcarpathian Tourism Organisation, the event was attended by Oleksandra Horzov, Acting Head of the Tourism and Resorts Department of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, and Andriy Andrusiak, a representative of the Department.

The fourth congress of cheesemakers was attended by the craft enterprises Selyshche Cheese Factory (N. Selyshche), Mamyn Syry (Zolotarevo), Varosh Cheese (Mukachevo), Family Cheese (Dubove), Perechyn Manufactory, Turyansky Dvor, Prychadnyi Gazda, Izky Eco-Resort and others, as well as representatives of Transcarpathian craft shops.

During the meeting, the cheesemakers presented new products and discussed opportunities to promote Transcarpathian craft products in the tourism market.

In turn, the meeting of Transcarpathian brewers, which was the first since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia, was held with the participation of representatives of the companies "Grafska Brewery" (Mukachevo), "John Gashpar" (Beregovo), "Heming" (Mukachevo), "Fichte'nbrewery" (Korytnyany), "Uber" (Uzhhorod), "Kibler" (Shchkovo), "DOM Brewery" (Uzhhorod) and "BADZEL" (Mukachevo). Korytnyany), Yuber (Uzhhorod), Kibler (Vyshkovo), DOM Brewery (Uzhhorod), Mukachivske and BADZEL.

The event discussed the further development of craft brewing in the region and presented the ProfesSör beer from the John Gashpar brewery in honour of the "professor from the trench" Fedir Shandor.
