On 12 April, the Palace of Culture and Arts in Mukachevo presented the animated series The History of Palanok Castle, created as part of the Smart Museum project under the HUSKROUA programme.
In addition to the creators of the cartoon, the presentation was attended by representatives of culture, art and history of Transcarpathia, and employees of the Tourism and Resorts Department of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Oleksandra Horzov and Viktoria Kich joined the event.

The animated series tells the story of the fortress from ancient times to the present day. The animated film consists of 10 episodes with a total duration of 40 minutes and is the result of the hard work of Darvideo studio, together with the film workshop Orestfilmcommissioned by YADRO lab and the Mukachevo Historical Museum.

"The creation of an animated film about the history of the castle is a new tourist product for Ukraine, and it will certainly contribute to increasing the potential of attractiveness of Transcarpathia, in particular the historical and architectural sites of the region," said Acting Head of the Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Oleksandr Horzov.
Starting from 15 April, The History of Palanok Castle will be broadcast in the cinema of the Mukachevo Castle.
