In Q1 2026, almost UAH 7.5 million in tourist tax was paid in Zakarpattia.

Between January and March 2026, 7,486,400 UAH in tourist tax was paid into the local budgets of Zakarpattia Oblast, which is 36.41% more than in the same period of 2025.

The tourist tax paid by individual entrepreneurs amounts to 4,652.4 thousand UAH, and the tax paid by legal entities is 2,833.9 thousand UAH, according to the Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Zakarpattia Regional Military Administration.

The largest amounts of tourist tax went to the budgets of local communities:

c. Polyana – 1,684.3 thousand UAH;

Uzhhorod – 1,448.8 thousand UAH;

Koson village – 492.4 thousand UAH;

c. Pylypets – 488.7 thousand UAH;

c. Baranyntsi – 458.3 thousand UAH;

Mukachevo – 378.2 thousand UAH;

Berehove – 315.3 thousand UAH;

Sel. Yasinia - 269.4 thousand UAH;

c. Vyshka – 224.6 thousand UAH;

Vinohradiv – UAH 220.5 thousand

Together, these communities paid 5 million 980 thousand 600 UAH, which amounts to 79,9 % of all tourist tax paid to the regional authorities.

Namely: the village of Polyana – 22.5%; the town of Uzhhorod – 19.4%; the village of Koson – 6.6%; the village of Pylypets – 6.5%; the village of Baranintsi – 6.1%; Mukachevo – 5.1%; Berehove – 4.2%; Yasinya settlement – 3.6%; Vyshka village – 3%; Vynogradiv – 2.9%. 

Taking into account the amount of tourist tax paid for January-March and the established tourist tax rates in territorial communities for domestic tourism, it is possible to approximately determine the number of tourist days - 224 656The specified calculation of the indicator does not take into account tourists from privileged categories (war veterans; children under 18, persons with disabilities, and those who arrived for treatment with a voucher).

The highest growth in local budget revenue indicators for the first three months of 2026, compared to the same period in 2025, is observed in:

To Bushkyn community – an increase of almost 21 times (UAH 65.3 thousand);

Velikobychkivskyi – 17 times (0.6 thousand UAH);

Synevirska – 10 times (UAH 14,000);

Velikodobronskii – 4.3 times (26.7 thousand UAH);

Kholmkivs'ka – 3.3 times (28.6 thousand UAH);

Verkhnokoropetska – almost 3 times (5.2 thousand UAH);

Khust – by 2.7 times (UAH 105.2 thousand);

Vyshkivska – 2 times (114 thousand UAH);

Kostrynska – an increase of 90.2% (22,000 UAH);

in Tyachiv – an increase of 89.7% (14,000 UAH);

Zhdeniivskyi – an increase of 88.6% (76,100 UAH).
