The Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Transcarpathian Regional Administration reports that in January-March 2023, UAH 4 million 247 thousand 700 of tourist tax was paid to the local budgets of the Transcarpathian region, which is 18.4 % more than in the same period in 2022.
In particular, the tourist tax paid by individuals amounted to UAH 1,913.4 thousand, and the tax paid by legal entities - UAH 2,334.3 thousand.
The largest amounts of tourist tax in the first quarter of 2023 went to the budgets of territorial communities: Polyana village - UAH 933.1 thousand; city of Uzhhorod - UAH 653.9 thousand; the village of Baranyntsi - UAH 591.0 thousand; the village of Koson - UAH 270.0 thousand; the city of Mukachevo - UAH 238.8 thousand; the village of Onokivtsi - UAH 198.1 thousand; the city of Vynogradiv - UAH 196.7 thousand; the city of Berehove - UAH 196.1 thousand; Vyshka - UAH 165.2 thousand; Turia Remeta - UAH 143.6 thousand; Dovhe - UAH 130.8 thousand; Pylypets - UAH 106.0 thousand.
