In 2023, UAH 22 million 160 thousand 700 of tourist tax was paid to the local budgets of the Transcarpathian region, which is 13.81% more than in the same period of 2022.
"The tourist tax paid by individuals is UAH 10,714.9 thousand, and the tax paid by legal entities is UAH 11,445.8 thousand," the Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration informs.
The largest amounts of tourist tax were paid to the budgets of territorial communities: Polyana village - UAH 5,021.5 thousand; the city of Uzhhorod - UAH 2,740.1 thousand; the village of Baranyntsi - UAH 2,737.6 thousand; the village of Koson - UAH 1,765.3 thousand; the city of Beregovo - UAH 1,253.0 thousand; the city of Mukachevo - UAH 1,234.3 thousand; the village of Onokivtsi - UAH 861.5 thousand; the city of Vynohradiv - UAH 812.1 thousand; Vyshka - UAH 803.4 thousand; Dovhe - UAH 629.1 thousand; Turia Remeta - UAH 617.1 thousand; Pylypets - UAH 541.0 thousand; Kolchyno - UAH 503.8 thousand.
