The Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Transcarpathian Regional Administration reports that in January-December 2022, UAH 19 million 471 thousand 300 of tourist tax was paid to the local budgets of the Transcarpathian region, which is 65.7 % more than in the same period in 2021.

The tourist tax paid by individuals amounted to UAH 9,038.8 thousand, and the tax paid by legal entities was UAH 10,432.5 thousand.

The largest amounts of tourist tax were paid to the budgets of territorial communities: Polyana village - UAH 4,806.0 thousand; Baranyntsi village - UAH 2,930.8 thousand; city. Uzhhorod - UAH 2,531.9 thousand; Koson - UAH 1,209.3 thousand; the city of Mukachevo - UAH 1,088.0 thousand; Vyshka - UAH 729.4 thousand; Pylypets - UAH 702.0 thousand; the city of Berehove - UAH 687.0 thousand; m. Vynogradiv - UAH 630.7 thousand; Turia-Remeta village - UAH 629.2 thousand; Yasinya village - UAH 629.1 thousand; Onokivtsi village - UAH 567.2 thousand; Dovhe village - UAH 441.7 thousand. Serednye - UAH 401.5 thousand; Zhdeniyevo - UAH 348.7 thousand; Mizhhirya - UAH 241.5 thousand; Kolchyno - UAH 192.4 thousand; Khust - UAH 174.4 thousand; and Khust - UAH 174.5 thousand.
