The Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Transcarpathian Regional Military Administration reports that in January-August 2022, almost UAH 13 million 449 thousand of tourist tax was paid to the local budgets of Transcarpathian region, which is 94.5 per cent more than in the same period in 2021. In particular, the tourist tax paid by individuals amounted to UAH 6,403.3 thousand, and the tax paid by legal entities amounted to UAH 7,045.4 thousand.
The largest amounts of tourist tax were paid to the budgets of territorial communities: Polyana village - UAH 3,398.6 thousand; Baranyntsi village - UAH 2,122.9 thousand; the city of Uzhhorod - UAH 1,675.1 thousand; the city of Mukachevo - UAH 806.3 thousand; Koson - UAH 728.8 thousand; Yasinya - UAH 619.1 thousand; Pylypets - UAH 539.5 thousand; Vyshka - UAH 484.3 thousand; Turyi Remety - UAH 457.0 thousand; the city of Vynohradiv - UAH 435.2 thousand.
