The Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Transcarpathian Regional Military Administration reports that in January-July 2022, UAH 11 million 505 thousand of tourist tax was paid to the local budgets of Transcarpathian region, which is 110 per cent more than in the same period in 2021. In particular, the tourist tax paid by individuals amounted to UAH 5,450.8 thousand, and the tax paid by legal entities amounted to UAH 6,054.2 thousand.
The largest amounts of tourist tax were paid to the budgets of territorial communities: Polyana village - UAH 2,939.1 thousand; Baranyntsi village - UAH 1,914.0 thousand; the city of Uzhhorod - UAH 1,307.7 thousand; the city of Mukachevo - UAH 738.7 thousand; Yasinya - UAH 604.8 thousand; Koson - UAH 577.8 thousand; Pylypets - UAH 530.1 thousand; the city of Vynogradiv - UAH 419.9 thousand; Vyshka - UAH 374.1 thousand; Onokivtsi - UAH 348.2 thousand.
