At the Faculty of Tourism and International Communications of the Uzhgorod National University, the results of international internships in 2023 were summarized.
The event was attended by dean Nataliya Gabchak, representatives of the Tourism and Resorts Department of the Zakarpattia OVA Marianna Gotra and Oleksandra Gorzov, teachers of the faculty and specialists in tourist support.
During the presentations, students talked about their experience, work and challenges during internships abroad.
"Thank you for popularizing Ukraine in the world and gaining experience. We hope that you will apply the new knowledge and practical skills in domestic tourism as well," said Marianna Gotra in her welcoming speech and, together with her colleagues, presented the students with certificates for the successful completion of the internship.
At the end of the meeting, plans for the 2024 internship season were announced. The faculty will continue cooperation with international partners and a number of hotels. And students will have the opportunity to do internships in Turkey, Greece, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Austria and Cyprus.
