Due to Russian aggression and shelling of energy infrastructure by the enemy, this year's ski season in Zakarpattia will be significantly different from previous years. As of 23 December, only a small number of the region's resorts confirmed that their ski lifts would be open this winter. Among the Transcarpathian tourist destinations that are already welcoming winter holidaymakers are "Polyan SKI. The Polyana ski resort opened its winter season on 14 December. A 100-metre beginner's slope and a tubing track were the first to open.

Artificial snowmaking systems start working at eco-resort "Izki" (Khust district) and a ski resort "Great" in the Tyachiv region.
"The cannons are already snowing the slopes and we will soon launch a 200-metre-long bogie lift on the small hill. That is, starting this weekend (24-25 December), it will be possible to go tubing, sledging and skiing. As for the chairlift, we can't say anything at the moment, because the situation depends on the power supply. It will work, but according to a certain schedule, which is not yet available," said the Izki resort administration.
This season, the Velykyi complex will offer one of two 400-metre-long ski lifts and a tubing track.
Start of the winter season at the resort "Voevodyno" is tentatively scheduled for 1 January, but only a small slide, about 100 metres long, will be open.

"Guests will be able to go tubing and sledding. The operation of the main 900-metre-long ski lift with a rope tow is in question," the resort's reception said.
The new ski season will also be on "Krasiya". There is no exact start date yet. The resort will announce it on its information resources. The resort also noted that unused 2021-22 skipasses purchased on the TicketsBox service are valid for the 2022-23 season.

The ski season starts in Pylyptsi will depend on weather conditions and the power supply situation.
"We are planning to open the season. Out of the two ski lifts, only one will work - the 1,000-metre-long diesel-powered one. If the weather is favourable, we may try to launch it on 25-26 December," the administration said. Magura ski hotel.
According to local authorities, there are also plans to open ski lifts in the tract "The bruise" and the village Interference Mukachevo district and on the Synevyr pass.
