The Derenivska Kupil health resort hosted the Construction Congress, where participants discussed real estate sales strategies and tourism development in the region.
The event was attended by developers, investors, business representatives, as well as marketing and project development specialists. The speaker at the event was Marianna Gotra, Head of the Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration.
During the panel discussions, the factors that influence the economic and tourism development of Transcarpathia were discussed.
"Together with the participants of the Congress, we discussed the next steps of cooperation between business and government in the region. In this area, we already have successful cases, such as cooperation with sanatoriums in Zakarpattia, which provide free rehabilitation and recovery services for our defenders and their children. Another example is the construction of a rehabilitation centre for veterans under the 4.5.0 project, which was funded by business representatives and our European partners. And, of course, special attention is paid to barrier-free accessibility, in particular in the field of tourism," said Marianna Gotra.
According to the head of the Tourism and Resorts Department, Zakarpattia, which is located closest to the EU, should take advantage of its tourism potential by inviting not only domestic but also foreign tourists. Business is interested in this, developing the conference tourism sector in the region.
