The Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Transcarpathian Regional Administration reports that in January-August 2023, UAH 13 million 752 thousand 900 of tourist tax was paid to the local budgets of the Transcarpathian region, which is 2.3% more than in the same period in 2022.
In particular, the tourist tax paid by individuals amounted to UAH 6,842.3 thousand, and the tax paid by legal entities - UAH 6,910.6 thousand.
The largest amounts of tourist tax were paid to the budgets of territorial communities: Polyana village - UAH 3167.4 thousand; the city of Uzhhorod - UAH 1729.5 thousand; the village of Baranyntsi - UAH 1666.4 thousand; the village of Koson - UAH 1116.4 thousand; the city of Mukachevo - UAH 723.4 thousand; the city of Beregovo - UAH 664.4 thousand; the city of Vynogradiv - UAH 584.9 thousand; Onokivtsi - UAH 550.4 thousand; Vyshka - UAH 507.5 thousand; Solotvyno - UAH 397.9 thousand; and Dovhe - UAH 369.2 thousand; Turia-Remeta village - UAH 376.1 thousand; Kolchyno village - UAH 320.6 thousand.
