The Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration reports that during January-February 2023, UAH 3 million 538 thousand 900 of tourist tax was paid to the local budgets of Transcarpathian region, which is 26.6 % more than in the same period of 2022. In particular, the tourist tax paid by individuals amounted to UAH 1,483.5 thousand, and the tax paid by legal entities was UAH 2,055.4 thousand.
The largest amounts of tourist tax were paid to the budgets of territorial communities: Polyana village - UAH 746.3 thousand; Baranyntsi village - UAH 564.0 thousand; the city of Uzhhorod - UAH 560.0 thousand; the city of Mukachevo - UAH 230.0 thousand; Onokivtsi - UAH 198.1 thousand; Koson - UAH 180.0 thousand; the city of Berehove - UAH 149.2 thousand; Vyshka - UAH 144.9 thousand; Turia-Remeta - UAH 143.6 thousand; the city of Vynohradiv - UAH 141.6 thousand; Pylypets village - UAH 101.5 thousand; Serednie village - UAH 83.3 thousand; Mizhhirya village - UAH 55.2 thousand; Zhdenievo village - UAH 26.6 thousand.
