On 23 December, at the initiative of the Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, a roundtable discussion was held on the topic "Tourism of Transcarpathia 2022: Year in Review".
The event summed up the results of 2022 and outlined the main problems and difficulties faced by tourism professionals in Transcarpathia.

Bohdana Nosa, Head of the Tourism and Resorts Department of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, briefed on the main indicators of the tourism industry in 2022.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Transcarpathian tourism industry, including excursion, museum, nature and recreation, health resort, etc.
Dmytro Miroshnikov, Deputy Head of the Department of European and Regional Cooperation of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, shared the specifics of implementing regional European integration projects in the field of tourism.

Oleksandr Shershun, the head of the NGO "Association of Transcarpathian Tourist Support Specialists", spoke about the functioning of tourism, including excursions, in 2022, and Svitlana Chernova, director of the Municipal Company "Excursion" and Irina Gaziy (tour operator "Butterfly Travel") shared their thoughts.
Olga Shumovska, acting director of the Transcarpathian Regional Local History Museum, and Fedir Matichyn, head of the recreation department of the Synevyr National Park, discussed the specifics of popular tourist attractions.
The meeting also touched upon the functioning of health resorts, and Margarita Zagumenova, Deputy General Director of Suzirya LLC (Kvitka Polonynya Sanatorium), shared the specifics of their work.
At the same time, they discussed the situation of tourist safety in the mountains, which was described by the head of the mountain search and rescue unit, Oleksandr Gulyak.
