On 12 May, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv hosted a conference "Development of Rural Tourism Clusters in the New Realities".
The event was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Estonia to Ukraine Kaimo Kuusk, Head of the NGO "Union of Rural Green Tourism in Ukraine" Volodymyr Vasyliev, Vice-Rector of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv Inna Stepanets, representatives of local governments, national parks and rural estates. Experts from the Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Zakarpattia Regional State Administration also joined the event online.
During the conference, the results of the project "Improving Small Business and University Education System Development through Research and Promotion of Rural Tourism Clusters in Ukraine", funded by the Estonian International Development Centre, were presented and success stories were discussed, which describe how flexible and sustainable Ukrainian rural tourism entrepreneurship can be.

Experts told the conference participants how to make a rural tourism cluster economically viable and discussed future options for cluster development and mechanisms for their support.
