In the first half of 2024, Zakarpattia collected UAH 52.2 million in taxes from the tourism sector.
This is 45% more than in the same period in 2023, DART reports.
For comparison, in pre-war 2021, the amount of tax revenues from the tourism industry in Zakarpattia region was UAH 24 million 748 thousand.
In general, compared to the first half of 2023, an increase in tax revenues in the tourism industry was recorded in all regions of Ukraine, except Luhansk.
