In January 2024, UAH 1 million 498 thousand 200 of tourist tax was paid to the local budgets of the Transcarpathian region, which is 19.71% more than in the same period of 2023.
In particular, the tourist tax paid by individuals is UAH 938.8 thousand, and the tax paid by legal entities is UAH 559.4 thousand, the Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration informs.
The largest amounts of tourist tax were paid to the budgets of territorial communities: Uzhhorod - UAH 397.5 thousand; Polyana village - UAH 165.5 thousand; m Mukachevo - UAH 156.1 thousand; the village of Onokivtsi - UAH 105.2 thousand; the city of Vynogradiv - UAH 103.9 thousand; the village of Koson - UAH 101.2 thousand; the village of Dovhe - UAH 85.0 thousand; the city of Berehove - UAH 73.7 thousand; Kolchino - UAH 70.6 thousand; Pylypets - UAH 46.4 thousand.
In January 2024, the highest increase in budget revenues compared to the previous year was observed in the Kostrynska community - an increase of more than 34 times (UAH 31.4 thousand), Volovetska community - 15 times (UAH 1,056 thousand), Mukachivska community - 9 times (UAH 156.1 thousand), Onokivska and Vynohradivska communities - 3 times (UAH 105.2 and 103.9 thousand, respectively).
