Representatives of the region's recreational facilities gathered in Mukachevo to discuss and present the idea of creating a cluster - the Association of Zakarpattia Resorts.
The event was also attended by representatives of the Tourism and Resorts Department of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, Oleksandra Gorzov and Andriy Andrusiak.
The purpose of the Transcarpathian Resort Cluster is to ensure the successful functioning of the region's tourism industry, its management and marketing at the national level to effectively provide health improvement services.
Building partnerships will allow health resorts to attract investors and participate in grant projects, which in turn will help improve the region's tourism potential.
"Tourism is one of the most important areas of development in Zakarpattia, and the health sector is an integral part of it. We welcome the desire of representatives of the region's recreational facilities to unite into a powerful union, which we will support to achieve our common goal," said Oleksandra Horzov, Acting Head of the Tourism and Resorts Department of the Zakarpattia Regional State Administration.
The next step for the participants of the meeting is to prepare for the next meeting and official registration of the Association of Resorts of Transcarpathia.
