On 29-30 April, the Uzhhorod Castle hosted a festival of spring blooms with the participation of folk artists, theatre groups, music bands and craft producers.

The aim of the event was to raise funds for children from family-type homes in the de-occupied settlements of Kharkiv region.

Uzhhorod residents and guests were treated to cabbage rolls from Liubov Keretsman, saw knightly battles of the Order of St Nicholas Tower, a medieval performance by the Provocateur Theatre Studio and the House of Historical Dance, made May Day lerevos, and listened to the music groups Rohata Zhaba (Kharkiv), Tsimborky (Perechyn), and Dobronska Spivanka.

The event was organised jointly with the Charitable Foundation Transcarpathian Creative Workshop, the Charitable Foundation Humanitarian Centre of Kharkiv Region, Rotten Apple, Silver Tatosh, Uzhhorod Castle, Tyvodar Lehotskyi Museum of Local Lore, and Professor Fedir Shandor from the trench.
