On 22-26 September, the international fair Terra Madre 2022 was held in Turin, Italy, with the participation of representatives from more than 120 countries.

As part of the Ukrainian delegation, the tourist and gastronomic potential of Zakarpattia was presented at the event by the Svaliava confectionery Mirella.

"We held masterclasses at the kiflik baking stand and in the Terra Madre communal kitchen on the topic of 'Heirloom Grain and Natural Bread'. We chose a traditional corn bogach for the demonstration cooking. We also took part in the official presentation of the Ark of Taste of Ukraine Atlas, to which we were included as nominees with our products - kerechun, gaioches with plum jam and bacon pogachy," says the owner of the confectionery Myroslava Holonych.

Ukrainian participants also presented a loaf of bread in two techniques and their own products for tasting at the Turin fair.
