Lviv hosted the two-day Hotel Forum UA, which was attended by hundreds of representatives of Ukrainian hotels and restaurants, as well as investors, developers, designers, architects, financial experts, technologists and other hospitality professionals.
Among the participants were DART chairman Mariana Oleskiv, head of the Association of Hotels and Resorts of Ukraine Iryna Sidletska, deputy head of the Tourism and Resorts Department of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Oleksandra Horzov, and hotel and restaurant owners and administrators from across the country.
The forum discussed the reform of the classification system for hotels and other accommodation facilities, strategies for successful business development in an era of instability, principles of marketing in the hotel industry and other issues in the hospitality sector.
"Today, the hospitality industry has to adapt to the realities, consider new challenges and be flexible. During the forum, we explored the growth of the hospitality industry in Ukraine and gained new knowledge on innovations in gastronomy and marketing. I am convinced that the hospitality industry is developing despite all the difficulties for the benefit of our and foreign tourists," said Alexandra Gorzov after the event.
