Tourist rating from "Tourinform Zakarpattya" - is an award given to entrepreneurs, organisations and individuals who have made the greatest contribution to the development of the tourism industry and the creation of attractiveness in the Transcarpathian region.
So, this year, the tourist award was won:
Specialists in the tourism industry of Transcarpathia, serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Operation of accommodation and transportation facilities to meet the needs of refugees and IDPs in the Transcarpathian region
Volunteer work of tourism industry specialists in Zakarpattia region for work with refugees and IDPs
Infrastructure development in Zakarpattia - Ukrainian Railways, through the opening of new railway connections and routes (opening of an international railway connection with Romania in Rakhiv district, and a new railway connection from Zakarpattia to cities and regions of Ukraine);
Tourist clubs of Transcarpathia - regular and active work of tourist clubs in Zakarpattia (Hiking Club, Adventures of a Traveller, Excursions to the Silver Land, Rakhiv Hutsulshchyna Tourist Centre and MegaRegaTour) in the region;
Excursion services in Transcarpathia: Janos Mesko, for the stability of the Open Tours project;
Museums of Transcarpathia - development of animation programmes, work with visitors on the territory of the Transcarpathian Museum of Local Lore - Uzhhorod Castle, Transcarpathian Museum of Architecture and Life, Local History Museum of Perechyn and Palanok Castle);
Tourist places of Transcarpathia - the initiative of the volunteer group Chysto.de to improve the territory and lobby for the creation of a landscape reserve of local importance, the Zakarpattia Sea Shore;
Tourist routes of Transcarpathia - Route "How the Carpathians are arranged", development and implementation of the route "Excursions with Max Adamenko"
Promotion of Transcarpathia - international awards and achievements of photographer Mykhailo Dorohovych, silver at the New York Photography Awards 2022. The author received an award in the People Photography - Culture nomination for his collection of works "Cultural Ethnicity of Transcarpathia", which promotes the culture and traditions of Transcarpathia from the collection of the Transcarpathian Museum of Architecture and Life in Uzhhorod;
Local history work - local lore publications by Sandor Schreiner The book about the organs of Transcarpathia and the book by Oleksandr Tsilo - "Mukachevo Castle Palanok";
Trade unions and associations - Association of Transcarpathian winegrowers, winemakers and distillers (constituent conference, festival, conference);
Tourist information centres of Transcarpathia - TIC Rakhiv district and TIC Yasinya, for their active and regular work with visitors and tourists of the region;
Initiatives of Transcarpathia - the initiative of the Selysk Cheese Factory with partners in the village of Nyzhne Selyshche, Zakarpattia region, to provide free food services (Geleta restaurant), resettlement services (in total, more than 2,000 refugees and IDPs were accommodated among residents of the surrounding villages), the creation of a temporary shelter "Selysk Shelter" and volunteer work in support of the Ukrainian Armed Forces;
Tourist community of Transcarpathia - Polyanska ATC, for the largest tourist tax in the Zakarpattia Oblast (UAH 11 million for 11 months of 2022).
