Transcarpathian and Czech local historians complete joint popular science research project Czech heritage in Transcarpathia / České stopy na Zakarpatí.

"This is a trilingual audio guide to the Czech historical, cultural, and architectural monuments of Transcarpathia in the interwar period. The project is a kind of continuation of the successful Czech Heritage in Uzhhorod route created in 2021," said project participant Pavlo Khudish.

According to the local historian, with the help of an audio guide, you can find out where the Savings Bank on Korolivski Vynohrady was located in Mukachevo, who financed the construction of the Roman Catholic Church in Solotvyno, what makes the building of the Mukachevo Pavilion for Babies unique, or where tourists could stay overnight in the Carpathians 100 years ago.

Representatives of the NGO Uzhhorod modernism, Lina Degtyareva and Oleh Olashyn, Liubov Pavlyshyn, and designer Daryna Zadorozhna worked on the project. The project was created with the support of the Kralovohradec Region and implemented thanks to the Czech Centres organisation.
