Specialists from the Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration organised an informational tour in support of the new audio guide "Little-known and less-visited places of Khust region".
The event participants included almost two dozen members of the Association of Tourist Guides of Transcarpathia, as well as representatives of online media and regional television. During the tour, they became acquainted with:
- the recently opened Rikka Khust Thermal Resort spa complex
- the workshop which manufactures tableware from recycled glass Lay Bottele
- Mykolaiv Church in the village of Danylovo, built in 1779
- with the Bajlovo health resort and its sulphur baths
- a beggar's well in Oleksandrivka
- tourist attractions of Shayan village
To conclude, mountain rescuers from the State Emergency Service conducted a safety and first aid training session for the tour participants, specifically explaining how to act in emergencies, correctly assess risks, and provide first aid for injuries or hypothermia.
It should be noted that the audio guide "Lesser-Known and Little-Visited Places of Khust Region" is being developed by the Department as part of the "Programme for the Development of Tourism and Resorts in Zakarpattia Region for 2024-2026".
