In January-May 2024, UAH 7 million 940 thousand of tourist tax was paid to the local budgets of the Transcarpathian region, which is 2 % less than in the same period in 2023.
The tourist tax paid by individuals is UAH 4,557.8 thousand, and the tax paid by legal entities is UAH 3,382.5 thousand, according to the Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Transcarpathian Regional Military Administration.
The largest amounts of tourist tax were paid to the budgets of territorial communities: the city of Uzhhorod - UAH 1,698.3 thousand; the village of Polyana - UAH 1,380.4 thousand; the village of Baranyntsi - UAH 676.9 thousand; the city of Mukachevo - UAH 578.6 thousand; the city of Beregovo - UAH 521.8 thousand; the village of Koson - UAH 458.5 thousand; the town of Yasinya - UAH 340.2 thousand; the city of Vynohradiv - UAH 322.9 thousand; Dovhe village - UAH 227.3 thousand; Onokivtsi village - UAH 222.8 thousand;
