In 2025, the largest museums in Zakarpattia were visited by over 660,000 tourists.

Last year, 662,878 tourists visited the seven largest museums in Zakarpattia.

This is 141,300 more than in 2024, according to the Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration,

The Transcarpathian Regional Museum of Local Lore welcomed 226.4 thousand guests, including over 13.4 thousand defenders who visited Uzhhorod Castle free of charge. In 2025, the museum conducted 1037 excursions.

The Mukachevo Historical Museum was visited by 164.2 thousand tourists, including 26 thousand military personnel. 1,140 excursions were held at the fortress.

The Yosyp Bokshai Transcarpathian Regional Art Museum welcomed 150,000 visitors, including 10,100 defenders, and conducted 173 excursions.

The Transcarpathian Regional Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Life was visited by 116 thousand tourists, the Khust Regional Museum of Local Lore by 4.5 thousand people, the Svaliava District Historical Museum by 1.1 thousand tourists, and the Vynohradiv District Historical Museum by almost five hundred people.

In total, 55,000 male and female defenders of Ukraine visited the largest museums of Zakarpattia free of charge, and another 134,800 tourists entered the museums with concessionary tickets.
