Between January and April 2026, 10,278,300 UAH in tourist tax was paid into the local budgets of Zakarpattia Oblast, which is 31.31% more than in the same period of 2025.
The tourist tax paid by individual entrepreneurs amounted to 6,421.7 thousand UAH, and the tax paid by legal entities was 3,856.6 thousand UAH, reports the Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Zakarpattia Regional Military Administration.
The largest amounts of tourist tax went to the budgets of local communities:
Uzhhorod – 2,126.7 thousand UAH;
St. Polyana – 2,022.9 thousand UAH;
s. Koson – 645.8 thousand UAH
M. Mukachevo - 606.5 thousand UAH;
c. Pylypets – 588.6 thousand UAH;
Yasinya settlement - 574.0 thousand UAH;
Berehove – 539.6 thousand UAH
c. Baranintsi – 502.7 thousand UAH;
c. Onokivtsi – 335.8 thousand UAH;
Vyshkovo - 318.7 thousand UAH.
Together, these communities paid 8,261,300 UAH, which is 80,4 % of the total tax paid to the region’s local authorities (Poliana – 20%, Uzhhorod – 21%, Koson – 6%, Mukachevo – 6%, Pylypets – 6%, Yasinya – 5%, Berehove – 5%, Baranintsi – 5%, Onokivtsi – 3%, Vyshkovo – 3%).
Given the amount of tourist tax paid for January-April and the established tourist tax rates in territorial communities for domestic tourism, it is possible to approximately determine the number of tourist days, which amounts to 313,532The specified calculation of the indicator does not take into account tourists from privileged categories (veterans, veterans; children under 18 years of age, and those who arrived for treatment on a voucher).
