The brothers Gergely and Laszlo Parasky inherited the family business after the death of their father Yuri, who was once awarded the Order of the Wine.
The wine tasting takes place in a large cave carved out in 1920 by captured Italian soldiers. It is about 17 metres long. It maintains a constant temperature of 12-13 degrees Celsius, which preserves the taste of the wines. Guests are offered eight varieties to try.
The culmination of the tastings in the Parasko family's wine cellars is the kahor. This is the only "proper" cahors in Ukraine with a 400-year history of the recipe. The drink is distinguished by a pronounced sourness, which, combined with natural sweetness, creates a rich, thick taste. It is worth noting that neither sugar nor other additives are recognised here. The aftertaste gives off the aroma of wild berries, which remains for a long time, and a slight astringency, usually not characteristic of kahlúk, envelops the palate 10-15 seconds after the first sip and lasts for a minute. Unlike most of the cahors on offer, this one can be drunk in doses of 250-300 grams, and there is no feeling of nausea.
