An information and educational tour of popular locations in Uzhanskyi National Park took place on the initiative of the Tourism and Resorts Department of the Zakarpattia Oblast Military Administration. The event was attended by representatives of the State Agency for Tourism Development, as well as regional administrations and communities from Kharkiv, Lviv, and Volyn.

The tour stops included St. Nicholas Monastery in Malyi Berezny, the 1645 Church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos, a defensive point of the Arpad Line, the "Autumn Crocus" botanical reserve, a purpose-built viewing platform on the Uzhok Pass, a monument marking the junction of the borders of three countries, and unique natural monuments – the "Grandfather Oak" and the "Champion" oak, both over 1100 years old.

"Uzhanskyi National Nature Park remains one of the most popular tourist destinations in the region. Today, our colleagues from different cities of Ukraine got acquainted with its highlights. We thank the management of the national park for the warm welcome, and the specialists of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine for conducting training on tourist safety in providing first aid," said Marianna Hotra, Head of the Tourism and Resorts Department.

To conclude the tour of the Uzh Valley, guests were presented with the tourist potential of Zakarpattia in the conference hall of the "Camelot" hotel and resort complex.
