Wine tasting is held in a cosy tasting room for 25-30 guests, equipped next to the wine cellar, where you can enjoy up to 20 varieties of unique Transcarpathian wines produced by the Shosh family. Each tasting traditionally begins with a taste of dry wines, gradually moving on to semi-sweet ones. Vermouth is served last. Thus, guests have the opportunity to taste four types of dry white wine, four types of dry red wine, as well as five types of semi-sweet white wine and five types of semi-sweet red wine, and at the end of the tasting, different types of vermouth are served. After tasting each type of wine, guests are treated to sliced apples, cheese, salted sticks, biscuits, peanuts, etc., as they neutralise the taste of the previous wine to fully enjoy the taste of the next variety.
The tasting room is decorated with the most important tools used in the traditional processing of grapes and wine production: grape harvesting utensils, a scoop, barrels of various sizes, and wine bottles.
Upon prior request, the hosts prepare such home-cooked dishes as bograch goulash, homemade sausage, gurka, stewed cabbage, broth with homemade noodles, Hungarian fish soup.
