House-museum "Lemkivska manor"
The museum complex was established in 1985. It reflects the life of Lemkos, one of the ethnic groups of the Ukrainian population.
The house was built in 1902 from beech logs. The building complex consists of a residential part (hut, hayloft and barn) and outbuildings (barn, barn and shed) located in a row under a common roof. This type of building is typical for the Lemko ethnographic group.
The house contains household items that recreate the material culture of the Lemkos of the early twentieth century: in the storeroom there is a wooden mortar, millstones, large wooden bowls, cabbage tubs with straw lids, in the pantry - ancient carpentry tools, wooden barrels, dishes, boots, in the room - a table, a carved bed, a wardrobe, a wooden cradle, made by the owner.
You will be able to see all this and many other interesting things for yourself when you visit the hospitable mountain village, where you will be welcomed by the Lemkivchanka folklore and ethnographic amateur folk group, which operates at the museum. In addition to explaining and commenting on the museum's exhibitions, the members of the group will tell you interesting stories about the life of Lemkos and sing funny and lamenting Lemko songs.
