Castles of Transcarpathia
Transcarpathian castles were built in different eras by different rulers and different peoples.
Among the most popular today are royal (Uzhhorod and Palanok castles) and knightly castles (Kvasiv and Bronets castles).
There are buildings and ruins of twelve medieval castles in Transcarpathia, which will be used as the route: Uzhhorod, Mukachevo, Nevytsky, Serednyansky, Chynadiyevo, Bronetsky, Kvasovsky, Borzhavsky, Korolevsky, Vynogradiv, Khust and Vyshkovsky castles.
All the castles have lost their original functional purpose, and most of them are now ruins, but this route allows you to enjoy the magnificent views, combine different ways of travelling, and does not limit tourists in terms of physical fitness, age and interests.
