The largest international business tourism exhibition, IMEX 2026, took place in Germany. Frankfurt am Main brought together thousands of representatives from the global MICE sector industry, international associations, tourism organisations, the hotel business, airlines and event organisers from all over the world.

Together with colleagues from DART and Vinnytsia, specialists from the Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration presented Ukraine's consolidated stand. Representatives of the Department of Ecology and Natural Resources and associations of business tourism, hotels and resorts, and inbound tour operators of Ukraine also took part in the event.

"Accommodation facilities in Zakarpattia are ready to offer guests high-quality MICE services, and we are conveying this message to our partners worldwide," stated the head of the Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Zakarpattia Regional Military Administration. Marianna Gotra.
On the second day, event participants presented local products and the cultural heritage of their regions.

At Ukraine's stand, crafts from Transcarpathian producers were presented: Stifko Wine Manufactory, The First Transcarpathian Palinka Distillerysweets from Miroslava Mirella, beer and cider from Tsypa BreweryHutsul bryndza from Rosenthal Eco-Farm – Kvassytreats from Hutsul Pastrysouvenirs from SOBI - a space for Ukrainian brands, Lay Bottle then Lekwar from @berry_laand.
This is the fourth international tourism exhibition involving specialists from the Tourism and Resorts Department of the Zakarpattia Oblast Military Administration in 2026. Before this, Transcarpathia's tourism potential was presented in Riga, Prague, and Bucharest.
